About The Author
An entrepreneur since 1985, Kelly Oswald has successfully followed her passion through a variety of careers encompassing Marketing, Advertising, Graphic Design, Education, the Wellness Industry, Recreational Services, Retail, and Wholesale.
Kelly believes in giving back to the community that supports her. She applies her years of experience as an active business mentor for the Canadian Youth Business Foundation, sharing both her successes and failures to assist young people on their journey to entrepreneurism. She has also been the driving force behind numerous fundraising projects both locally and internationally including: community events and ‘Be the Change’ with Deepak Chopra at Whistler, UNICEF’s aid for Darfur, Africa, The Strong Children Foundation at Bali, Indonesia, and The Ray Thomas Group (Y.E.S.) at Baja California Sur, Mexico.
She has been nominated for the North Vancouver Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Award 2003, the Innovative Business Award 2005 and won the Whistler Chamber of Commerce ‘Best Retail’ 2008-11 and has shared her knowledge on Canadian national television and radio stations in Canada and the United States.
Currently, Kelly is a writer, business operator, consultant and teacher of personal and spiritual development. Kelly and her husband James, live between their two homes in Whistler and Secret Cove, British Columbia, Canada six months and travel abroad the rest of the year.
